I also think it is likely a 39-40 model A. Price wise I'm sorry to say not much. If someone offered $100 I would jump on it. With so many nice A models around cheap, it would just not be worth restoring this one.

My guess is a 39-40 B.

Looks a lot like "Uncle Earl" our 39B.

On second look, the flywheel is much larger in relationship to the steering pedistal.

The oil bath pan also looks different than the one on the 39B.

Second guess is obviously an early styled A.

I'd say 41-46. wouldn't the gas caps be closer together like the 39-40 B? and I see whats looks to be the six speed shifter, the round base.

Looks to me as a late war time production model probably 44 or 45 , it has the cast frame and no electrical but seems to have big rad cap meaning bigger rad.

It's a Model A. I blew up the photo, and it gets fuzzy, but doesn't look look there's a shift quadrant (meaning a guide with slots for the different gears). Assuming that there isn't, that makes it either a '39 or '40. If there is one, that means it's a '41 thru early '47. Mike

I'm thinking an A 39-40. Check for a serial # below the magneto mount. Ron Mn.

From the looks, I would Say a 1939 to 1941, It is still hand start so that would be my guess.
