GT275 not charging battery

Had a load test on battery., good, volt meter shows no charging going on. 2 fuses by key switch circuit board are good. Can anyone please tell me what to check or would you have a schematic you could email me.

thanks much
Mike

Used a voltmeter and grounded the negative lead, probed every slot in the voltage regulator plug and not voltages over 10 volts, this is with tractor running and battery draining as I am testing, no shorts. how do you check the stator for output ?
Thanks

The stator produces ac voltage. Depending on the engine, two of the leads going to the regulator should be producing 24-30+ volts ac, when connected to the regulator, one of the remaining leads should read battery voltage . If you are getting battery voltage at all the terminals the stator is shorted out most likely

I got the 24-32 VAC at the stator and regulator, the voltage regulator is not putting out charge voltage,
thanks much for the help

Should not have AC at the regulator output.
Regulators are often just a diode for 1/2 wave rectification with pulsing DC output. Or a bridge rectifier with four diodes and "full wave rectification but with DC ripple.
The voltage is controlled with a zener diode that "shorts" the + to chassis when voltage exceeds 14V.
Without being there to test the regulator, it appears to have at least one shorted rectification diode.

I"m not saying this to be mean but I have been an electronics tech for 20 years , you have to put AC in to get DC out of a voltage regulator" that I am sure of. I was making reference to having the neg lead of the mulit meter and then probing all connections to see what I read, I have since found which pin does what which really helps alot.
thanks much
