Have a John Deere 2150 1986 model with remote hydra. Have a Kuhn Disc Mower that the previous owner used with a New Holland tractor. The hose from the hydra. cylinder on the mower does not fit into the remote hydra. coupler on the 2150. What type fitting or adapter do I need? What type is used by New Holland? There isn't a Hydra. Shop any were near me. Thanks very much for any advise or help!

The 50 series was the first series that JD used iso couplers. It should be the same as the New Holland tractor.

Correction in that 50 series was the 1st New Generation JD tractor to use ISO couplings & tips. JD 20 & 30 series 2 cyl. tractors used Pioneer couplings & tips.

Thanks for the info. Went to the local NAPA today with the hose. Anyway the coupler on my 2150 is the John Deere old style. They are going to make a new hose for me and put the right fitting for my tractor. The old hose was going to need replaced some time in the near future anyway. Thanks for the help guys. Thought this was going to be a headache, but was quite easy to take care of. The local JD dealer parts guys seem to be lost any time you have a question or problem. If its not in the computer they can't help you. My father was a salesman for John Deere for over twenty years. Back then the guys that worked the counter knew farm equipment and could be a lot of help. Its hard to find one today. In this area anyway.
Thanks,
Keith

Someone must have added the hydraulics on your tractor if you have the old style. The late 40 series was very similar to the 50 series. Maybe the valves came from one of those.
