value of 2 model 60 tractors.

I work at a JD dealership and yesterday I traded for 2 model 60 tractors. One gas and one LP. Both have power steering and run. The gas tractor has a three point hitch. Both tractors have straight sheet metal on them. What are these tractors worth?

The LP's vary in price. Some folk are absolutly terrified of them. And see an LP stricly as a source of parts.
Myself, I would like a decent running factory LP 50,60 & 70 for the collection.
Live pto?
What kind of a three point hitch?

Im not sure on the pto or hitch. Ill have to look. We are supposed to pick them up Monday or Tuesday. Im thinking pretty heavily on getting one of them for myself.

Exact condition and location is going to play a huge roll in determining the exact value but I’d guess at around $2,000 each if they are in good shape, run and operate good and have decent tires.

Ill try to get some pics of them when we pick them up and get them to the shop. They were acually using the gas tractor to feed round bales of hay this winter! Talk about a load. The LP has something wrong with the starter and has to be pull started, but runs well.

56 is the last year, 53 the first.
If it is live it should have a horizontal handle on the right side of the seat and a larger gear case behind the PTO.
We used to feed 6x6 round bales with the 47A with lift instead of trol, we had to bale them a little short and use the brakes to steer.
I aint never had an LP, that one would be fun to play with and maybe tune for slow racing.

Ryan, the LP should bring $2000-2500. The gas in the same condition should be around the same price.

LP definitly has the miserable transmission driven pto. The gasser's images are a bit dark or distant but I'm guessing it's trans driven too.
The aftermarket true three point Hoxy Hitch is a nice find. Have one on my 70LP.
Seems to be without fail the pulley cover, pto shield and fenders will be missing.
Trans driven pto or not. I'd like that 60LP in the collection.

The gas one is a Live PTO. My dad is going to buy it. The LP is for sale. It also has the float ride seat. Acually runs better than the gas one. It needs a new battery. It doesnt have enough juice to spin it fast enough. Pull it a couple of feet and it fires right up. Give me a call 479-747-5420

Too far away. The trucking will cost more than the tractor.

Depending on what part of Arkansas it might not be too far from me, what would you take for her and exactly where are you?

The general response im getting from people is that it should be worth 2k to 2500. I listed it in the classifieds for $2500 obo. Make me an offer, we will talk.

I am in Russellville Arkansas. It is 70 miles west of Little Rock on I-40.

I would be glad to take better pictures or even try to figure out how to upload a video of the tractor.
