John Deere - Parts Catalog Website - 4020

Hello, I've used the JD Parts Catalog website many time in the past to download parts catalogs for older equipment and tractors and have always been able to find what I needed in PDF form. I'm now looking the parts manual for a pre-200,000 serial number 4020. When I go to the Parts Catalog website I can find all the HTML pages but no place or location to download a PDF full-vesion parts catalog. Does anyone know where or how I can find PDF versions for the 4020's?

The older stuff is a PDF file that you can download but has very limited functionality. The newer equipment is not in a down load able PDF file, you have to use the JD website every time to look at it but it has a lot more functionality including seeing prices and zoomable exploded views. I personally like the newer one much better.

Actually, you can open the site and print any parts lists and diagrams you need for later use. AFAIK, not the whole manual at once, though.
 
Thanks for the responses guys. I was hoping to find a PDF version I could print for my father who is, shall we say, computer-challenged. Does anyone have the part number for the parts manual for the sub 200,000 SN 4020's? I'll check JD parts for the cost, maybe he'll just get a late Christmas present? It's too early for his birthday yet....

If you are signed up with jdparts.com you can look up the manual there AND get the manual number and price.

Click on "Resource Center", then "Technical Publications".

This screenshot is for the lower #'s ('010001'-'090999')'. For the later #'s ('091000'-'200999'), the operator's manual differs, but the parts and service manuals are the same.
