30 series front wheels

I'm told 30 series tractors (530, 630, 730) could be had with either 15" or 16" front wheels. Can anyone confirm? Did it matter if it was a wide or narrow front? How about width? Was that variable, too? Can anyone post photos of tractors with the two different sizes on them? Thanks.

Sodly -- according to the 630 operators manual. The row crop tractors with narrow front & square tube wide front could have had 6.00x16 or 7.50x15 tires. Single front- 7.50x16 , 9.00x10 or 11x12. Standard tread tractors could have had 6.00x16, 6.50x18 or 7.5x18. There were many aftermarket equiped tractors with wider rims & larger tires such as the case when a loader was installed and the owner put larger heavier tirres to carry the extra weight.

Narrow front tractors used 7.50-15 front tires ONLY when the optional heavy-duty rollomatic was installed.

Were these tire sizes the same for the 530 and 730? Anyone have pics of the different sizes on an actual tractor?

530 never used 7.50 15s or even 600 16s. It used 550 16s on the narrow fronts and the wide front.

How about rears? Was 15.5x38 as big as 30 series row crop rears got? Or did the 730 offer a larger/wider size as an option?
