2010 leaking hydro fluid from steering motor shortcut?

My 2010 gas row crop with a narrow front end is leaking from the steering motor. I know one line will need to be replaced but I'm also sure it's leaking from the lower seal. The steering functions flawlessly so I'm wondering if I need to tear the whole thing down or if there is a shortcut that one of you guys might know from experience. I really don't want to take the whole thing off for a $10.00 seal.

Finally. Even though the steering works fine. Should I replace the o rings in the pistons because they may be blowing by building pressure and causing the lower seal to fail?

Since there's a third line... a "case drain" back to the rear end, a little leakage past the "O" rings of a still-functioning unit shouldn't affect leakage past the seal much, if at all.

I'd just replace the seal (about $10.00) and giver it a try.

What MIGHT be something to worry about is bushing wear of the bushing next to the seal allowing the shaft to move around cusing the seal to leak. But at about $10.00 I'd try just the seal first if no other problems are evident.
