value ? 1949 R john deere complete not running ?

i would appreciate some help putting a price on my tractor i have a 1949 john deere model R ser. no. 2910 that i plan on selling the tractor is complete except for the seat i will call this a grove find it has set for a few ? years out side the exhaust was covered i was told and was when i looked at it it has 1 flat rear tire but looks to be mostly complete and rebuildable as i said i am looking for a price to sell this i am not looking for low ball offers! serious offers will be considered. thanks should i try to get this running or sell as is ? thanks again

Is it stuck ? if not a short pull should get it going.

It should be well worth a few hours time to see if it will run. Especially since you don't want any low ball offers ! Who would want to pay more then scrap price for a "pig in a poke" ?

If you want to get anything but scrap prices out of it you have to get both motors running and tires that at least hold air. Rs are very exspensive to repair and hard to find parts for Good luck .

any idea as to why they set it out to pasture?

i was told they ran it out of fuel and couldnt get it to start again thats what the son told me that he remembered
