Where to get a John Deere 80 or 75 Loader

Good Evening guys,

I have a 1989 John Deere 850 Diesel 4x4 tractor, and I am in dire need of a loader with bucket on the front of this tractor. I can't seem to find any JD 80 or the JD 75 Loaders anywhere for my tractor. Have any of you seen one that I could buy, or should I just go aftermarket? I really want the John Deere Loader though. Why are they impossible to find? What other parts am I going to need to get for this tractor to be able to mount and use the loader once I find one? Please let me know.

Thanks,

Tanner

I would try a scheduled search on eBay. I found my 70 loader for my 855 that way. You need to be patient, but it generally gets results. Craig's list and external_link are other sources. As to the mounting parts required, go to jdparts.com and review the exploded parts diagrams for the particular loader choice and for the tractor you need to mount it on and that will show you what all is reauired. Then when you find your loader you'll know at once if it is missing anything. The best thing is find a loader that is coming off the same tractor that you need it for.

Thanks for the advice. I see all kinds of other JD loaders out there but they never seem to be the 75 or 80 series loaders. Does John Deere still make a new model loader that would fit my 850?

I'd have to check up on it, but I think the 410 that they made a short time ago, might fit. It's probable one of the current models would fit as well. Take a stroll through the parts catalogs and you'll likely see references to other model mounting brackets. I see the 410 had mounts for the 855/955 and the 870/970/1070, so if you can think up a loader that is just a little bit older, you might find another loader that will fit and then you can look for one of those. If you go to external_link and look at 850's with loaders on, you'll also get an idea of what aftermarket units people were installing.

Yep Tractorhouse has a few 850's on there right now and they all have 75 or 80 loaders. I don't see any aftermarket ones, but I do know that several aftermarket companies make them for this tractor. I guess I just have my heart set on getting a JD loader if at all possible. :)

I was looking on the JD web site for parts, and it doesn't even show the 75 or 80 loader, nor does it show parts for it. I don't see any real parts selections for my 850 on the JD site either. I only found standard maintenance type parts on the JD site.

Perhaps I am looking in the wrong section?

You could try Wengers In myerstown PA. They have a very large used and reman parts for both Ag and construction. http://www.external_link/

Yeah, I think you are looking in the wrong section.

Go to jdparts.com, and click picture of the yellow & green parts catalog icon, then on the next page, select the "Catalog Number Search" box on the top and input the parts catalog number 2251 for the 80 loader, or 1726 for the 75 loader. I found these by typing 80 in the "Model Search" box first to retrieve all of the Deere equipment that had 80 in the model number. Repeated for Model 75 to get catalog number 1726.

im looking for 80 model for 950 john deere. not sure if I want to travel that far though, give me a call at 336-465-4727

Did you sell your loader? I am in Tyler Texas off I-20.
Let me know how much if you still have it.
Needing the 75 or 80 loader.
