Can anyone tell me for sure what I have. It is on a 1950 A. As you can see the pics are of the pump and the motor on the steering shaft. They are connected together by hoses. From what I can tell, It says "VICKERS". Any information anyone can give me is greatly appreciated!

You have a Charlynn power steering unit. The Vickers pump is just for the pump. Any numbers on the pump? How about an e-mail address J.

Vickers was a hydraulic pump company, now part of Eaton. They made gasoline pumps too. That torque generator looks like a Behlen.

I don't understand. Charlynn, Behlen, and Vickers. I have three names and two parts? I would think that both the pump and the torque generator are from the same company? I guess that they would not have to be from the same company. No I have never seen a Behlen,(although I have heard the name. They make a 5th 6th gear for unstyled A's Right?) or a Charlynn power steering unit. Are they the same thing? Thanks for your response.

any answers will be appreciated.
