uneven tire wear - ROM

My model 50 front tires are showing uneven wear, more on the right tire as compared to the left tire. Haven"t made any measurements, but the bearings are good as of recently. This is primarily a hobby tractor and spends a lot of time on the road (parades and shows locally) so it"s not vitally important that I get the problem resolved, but if anyone has solved this problem I"d be interested to know about some easy things to check for. Looking from the front and sides it looks reasonable correct to the eye. Thanks folks and take care.

You may have to adjust the linkage. Sounds like your toe-in is off. The right tire is either in too far or out too far depending which side of tire is worn. If the linkage isn't adjustable then you have some worn out or bent parts in there.

Mike, It seems like a sprung arm would be noticeable just by eyeballing it. It's probably time to make some serious measurements.

Ron,
The ROM has to be "timed", you may be riding more on the right tire, check the thrust washers and 4 bushings( 2 on each side). ROM was one of those ideas that "seemed good" at the time, but was a pain.
