I have a 6ft wide countyline bush hog i pull with a ford naa. Yesterday I was mowing and supringingly I didn't realize it for a while that one of the hangers on the back broke off somewhere in the field. I just decided to buy a new one since finding the old one would be like finding a needle in a haystack. However none of the mowers I see have the hangers I am talking about. They are chains fastened between the two link bars on the bottom and are connect at the upper link bar pin with these large brackets. They look factory but I can't find any examples of one online. Anyone have any or have seen them, and if so, where can I buy them from?

I have a hard time understanding what you described. A Google search provided a possibility or two.

3/4'' steel sounds thick, but anything is possible.

Are you asking about chains similar to this hookup to the tractor described by showcrop?

I think that you may be asking about the optional check chain assembly that limits how far the FRONT of the mower can drop. The pair of chains goes from the top link attach point on the tractor down to the lift points on the FRONT of the mower.

Some pictures of what is left may help. If they are OEM they should be shown in the parts book/operator's manual. If you bought the cutter used this may well be someone's personal modification. It sounds like you still have one bracket, can you build, or have built, another to replace the missing one?

I will update with a photo tomorrow, I am currently out of town. They could be a modification but they look too good to be a modification, it almost looks stock. And it would probably be very difficult to make because they are 3/4 steel with large holes in them. I wouldn't have the equipment to make some of my own
