Do you take those plastic inserts out of the ends of spool?

Must depend on brand of baler & type of net. I leave plastic inserts in end of net cardboard center & add a plastic spacer on each end to keep edge-edge net center in net attachment on my JD 467 rd baler. I detest Cover-edge net & won't use it.

Take them out only right before you put the net in the baler. They keep the heavy cardboard roll from getting distorted. Always store the net laying flat down on a pallet and not on end. Nathan
