I have a problem with the slip clutch in the PTO line on a Brent 610 grain cart. It has what looks like a dishpan that all the guts go into. Problem is it slips so I can't open the slide for more grain than leaks in to run or it slips. I believe it has the tighten to not grab and loosen to make clutch tighter. I believe it needs new friction discs. Only problem is how does it come apart? IF you take the nuts off the 4 bolts it will not come apart and the dishpan holding all the guts does not come off the universal joint. It has to be off the shaft which I will need to heat to get off. I need this working for corn and don't want to pull it apart till I have parts in hand. It is definitely not the slip clutch that came on the cart originally. the original was a Bondoli so some such thing and that does not have a dishpan looking a fair on it for the clutch. My brother got new discs for it a year ago and they were about 2 inches bigger than the clutch on there now. Can't get to the clutch good since some idiot welded the shield over the clutch instead of it being pinned on. Kind of looks like a waltershied or some such thing. Never thought to much of slip clutches nor shear pins.
