Just bought a 5x16 moldboard plow 1350-1450 model the moldboard need to be replaced NU style moldboards per JD dealer. John Deere wants $315 per moldboard. Dealer told me there were aftermarket moldboard sold through the dealer, but John Deere stopped it a couple of years ago. Two questions can someone help me find the aftermArket moldboards, and do the moldboards hold up as well as the Deere moldboards?

Where you at? My neighbor will sell you his 1350-1450 5-16 plow for $315. The moldboards are very nice. We are in So. central Mn. Might as well get the whole plow for the same money.

I would buy the whole plow and be done with it. With the weather we are supposed to get for the next week you will not be plowing soon as the ground is going to be froze enough you may have trouble with getting a plow in the ground. Or look for Osmundson plow parts they made all the wear parts for most all makes of plows.
