Old rear blade ID

After Googling around for much too long and not finding any leads, I figured I'd see if anyone around these parts has a good idea of what brand (God forbid model) this old blade may be?

I tried viewing examples of different brands and search combinations, but never got close to anything... close. I don't think it's homemade, but maybe it is (and a good job at that). Though the tag says Ford, I'm not too convinced of that.

Thanks![/img]

I have one just like it. Bought mine from a MF tractor dealer in Danville, Va. in mid to late 60s. Cannot read the name of the manufacturer
on the tag; how ever the letters V B and the numbers 6 1 3 0 are stamped on the tag. Not homemade.

Thanks for the thoughts, y'all.

After I made the post I got thinking more that maybe it is homemade, as rustred said.

But I still kept thinking something similar to how precise it is that that seems unlikely (then again, why should I assume someone wasn't that precise? Haha).

The last post is super helpful to maybe figuring it out. I didn't see a tag on it, but I haven't looked it over carefully yet either.

I'm in Virginia also. This was in an auction on Saturday in Stuart's Draft. Kinda funny, I was trying to bid on it but for some reason they never saw me, so a guy paid $60 for it (plus fees, making it about $70). I attract him down to see if he would sell it to me reasonably. Long story short we settled on $90, which I'd rather get it for 70 but I suppose I'm not complaining, haha. I think it's a fine deal for my intentions.

If you're in VA you're probably noticing that the temperature is much lower today than yesterday. My truck is down at the moment, So I'm weighing whether I want to be a popsicle for 12 miles each way on the tractor or figuring out another way (I have other options, but they're a bit overkill, haha). Once I've got it here I'll look it over some more to see if I can ID it further. But I'll probably search around to see what Massey Ferguson dealers might have been selling in that time period, as well. I'll probably clean it up and paint it, and I've got to decide how I want to set it up for moving snow (pvc pipe, horse stall mat, or some other idea).

Anyway, if I figure it out, I'll post it back here. Thanks, everyone.
