Who makes those little ornamental balers . Want to see if it will bale leaves in the yard . Stack those babys for heat source and mulch .

dont think you will get heat from leaves other than a lot of smoke. run over it with a lawn sweep and you can have them all in a pile and do as u please with them.

Guessing its a joke, but just in case, you buy a LOT of wood for the cost of one of those litte balers. There are others besides the modified New Hollands, they are all extremely expensive. Besides all that, they don t compress anywhere enough to make the idea feasible. It would require a large hydraulic press to press them into solid cubes.

Found a guy on you tube the used a Oliver 50 baler to bale leaves . Pick up didnt work well but auger and ram chamber and knotter system .wont need anything special baler to do it . So Im say why not try it ,just pack it thight .
So just experiment . Mulch storage. will be easy to transport bales .

Thats cool Timmy.

I enjoyed some of the comments, typical about half are ,this is great how can I do this, and half are ,this is a total wast of time and energy.

I do wonder about the energy and time cost of collecting paper, shedding it, running it through the press one a gain zing slow brick at a time, and then getting the brick to dry out to make a small lump of fire wood.

Really doesnt seem very efficient to me that way, but could be mass produced into something more efficient.

But I love that he has it screwed to the outside brick wall of his house or shop.

Have a neighbor that bought one of those repurposed New Hollands out of Pennsylvania. Had trouble with the knotter right "out of the box". Sales outfit was no help. He called me in to see if I could fix it. As I watched it cycle the problem was obvious, fix was tricky, but nothing a reasonably experienced knotter guy couldn't take care of. Amish/Mennonite fellas who do the mini-bale conversions do a decent job with the sheetmetal and rough mechanics but appear to be nearly clueless about knotters.
