John Deere Running gear wagon wheels

Have a old flat wagon of my late Uncle's & sorta redoing it, it has 15 wheels, but one is a 16 wheel, wondering where to look for a 15 wheel ? Or is there light truck wheel that matches up to the John Deere spindle, its a 6 lug wheel with I believe they consider 5 1/2 lug spacing & with a 4 1/4 center hole. Thanks for any & all responses, Alan

They are just a standard implement wheel. Same wheel used on other implements. Just go to a yoused parts yard and forget about new.

On the older running gears I have (1960 and back), the bolt pattern is the same as a standard 6-lug implement wheel but the center hole is 1/8 inch smaller. So if you put a standard wheel on, there is a gap between the wheel and the hub that isn't there with an OEM Deere wheel. If it's a really old gear, like pre WWII, it very well may have a goofy bolt pattern. I can't remember what Deere used on the first gears with the demountable-style rims.

That was a 5 lug on a large diameter lug spacing and the wheel had short pierces of angle iron welded on rim for bolt holes, The gear was a 902 and first with bearings. I had one I got off a pile in junk yard for several years but never restored. Gave it to a friend and now looks loke new. Orignal rims were for 17 tires. Usinf rims from throwaway spare tires fron Chevy S10 now has 16 tires on and cannot tell from factory orignal. Found it ie Eureka, Ill.

Looking in junkyards need to look at the offset in the center or it might hit the axle/bolster. then it might need to be flipped around and then look funny being on backwards compared to the other 3. Nothing wrong with junkyard looking just have to look at that aspect of it. New you can get at lots of places. Shoup,Heywheel, Agri-Supply Worthington, and so on.
