Quick Tach Conversion Adapter Questions

I want to use skid steer implements on the front of my Lord FEL, on my Ford 850. I am looking at buying a Universal Skid Steer Quck Tach Conversion Adapter assembly. I am a bit confused as some say for Bobtach, some say Universal, some say John Deere, and some say Global John Deere. They all seem to look about the same. I have built new weld on brackets to attach my FEL pins to the adapter plates as I want to keep my bucket as is as a pin on bucket, but I want to use a skid steer type forks for moving pallets. The adapter assemblies I am looking at are about $350, and they have two plates with a steel bar between the two plates. Can anyone help me understand if there is a difference, and if so, which would be the correct one for my FEL. Thanks to all as always, Larry.

I bought these for my Ford 4500 TLB off of ebay for around $90.

Then made them fit.

Thanks, I saw those on e-bay as well, but the ones I want have the rod already welded onto the plates, thus giving me the correct spacing, but I still don't know the difference between the John Deere, the Universal, the Bobtach, etc. as per my posting. Does anyone know the difference?

The Bobtach is what I used on my 4500 (some also call the Bobtach "universal", "quick tach", or SSQA). The John Deere uses a pin, and clip kind of like a 3 point pin/clip.

Bobtach, universal, quick tach, SSQA.
