(quoted from post at 08:35:53 09/28/22) Needing adjustment link
Any ideas?

Welcome to the Forum,

More details on what Dunham you need a link for might help get you info, they made a number of things.

(quoted from post at 09:03:58 09/28/22) I have pictures that didn t post.
I have a drag disc with a broken adjustment link

Not always, but in many cases new users have to have 5 or more posts on record before the site lets them post pictures (or links), due to site spam filters. Another option is to go down to the Site Comments Forum and ask YT Support for permission to post prior to that. You can try going down to the Test Forum and making several posts there to get your post count up, trying to attach your pictures to each post. That may work after you make several posts. Then make your post here again. It may not work immediately after you get past the 5 posts, if not, you might try logging out and back in at that point. There is a size limit as well, I think it is a total of 7mb per post (be it one picture or the total of several). Some pictures (often taken with phones) are too large and have to be reduced before they will post.

Too new so keep trying or ask moderator for permission to post pictures. Are you talking about the crank or some other parts? Had to get rid of mine about 3-4 years ago when lost the farm.Dought Dunham even knows they made a drag disk any more. But about the only thing that would be hard to make is a spool and that could even be made with a lath. I actually had a couple of them, made slightl different models.

Since a picture is not provided, one can only assume. Often times a simple link can be made from a common top link,or from a length (or two) of flat iron of appropriate size.Or a combination of both. That is
where I would be looking at if it were mine.

Your current post count (eight) should not be preventing you from posting pictures.

How large are the pictures? There is a limit of about 7mb on size, be it one picture or the total of several. Pictures from some phones can be larger than that.

Are you using Classic or Modern view? Someone might give you pointers on posting your pictures, if you let us know which view you are using.

That is I believe a newer model as some did not have that lever adjustable And if you are looking about the quadrant that the lever works on having a tooth broke out that piece you can just weld in a new tooth. Looks like all parts are there so what might be bad is repairable. And I never heard of that called a gear.

Im not sure what year or model. Needs a new pc on adjustment arm, that locks into teeth. Picture below

If you are looking for what I expect was a plunger inside the slide on the lever, lifted by the grip handle, you should be able to make one. It should have a spring holding it down into the quadrant teeth when the grip handle is released. A picture of the side of the lever and slide where the part is missing might help someone give you more options.

Making or rebuilding his old parts is the only options as that disk is from the 40's and Dunham is no longer. I don't know if any body took over the company or if every thing was just droped. The last of Dunham I ever heard of was when the 22 loader came out and I had a bit older version of the 22 that I never was able to get a model for and it came on the 65 year 4000 Ford when we bought it in 1980.
