'DIY' Tractor Tools/Implements

I'm a bit on the 'poor' spectrum, I've not got the spare money to buy things that would generally be useful on my little homestead. The tractor is a lifesaver for saving money in other ways- but there are plenty of implements I can't afford new, and can't find used cheap enough either. So I'm wondering what ideas y'all have for "DIY" stuff - I've seen things like people dragging 4x4s for land leveling, etc. Honestly, I've used my brush hog deck to carry some items (like fluffy limbs, not heavy ones, to the burn pile).

Some things I wish I could afford and would love to find some "DIY" options are... a blade for digging up the gravel in my driveway, breaking up the grass, and flattening out the pot holes; a tow behind cart/trailer to carry things around the farm (bigger than the little wagon I bought @ walmart); and a middle buster / row maker / something to help with the garden. All I've got are a disk harrow and a rotary cutter.

If you can scrape 200 bucks or so together and you have 3pt, a dearborn rear mount cultivator is probably the most useful thing you can own. You can use
as is without points to stir soil. You can put points on it to dig, or put wide sweeps on it to act like a plow. Otherwise, for free stuff and old box
spring makes a good soil leveler if you cant afford a harrow.

Not knowing your skill set. an old truck axle of 3/4 ton and up with the bolts around the flange would work for a trailer to haul things on. A front axle is a bit better because the deck will set a bit lower than a rear axle will. Then a couple old disc blades mounted on old plow coulters would make your middle buster for cheap. you will need a way to mount them and hold to keep them running straight for rows or cultivation. Watch junkyards that will sell pieces and parts you may find some implements or parts of them you can use. You also have not said how big your tractor is for use to know how big an implement or tools you are looking for.

Handiest DIY tool I ever built for a tractor is this hydraulic boom lift. I use it all the time. I'm getting too broke down to lift the heavy stuff like I used to. Built from an old rake frame, some box tube from the legs of an engine cherry picker and a hydraulic cylinder I found somewhere.
