I'm a bit on the 'poor' spectrum, I've not got the spare money to buy things that would generally be useful on my little homestead. The tractor is a lifesaver for saving money in other ways- but there are plenty of implements I can't afford new, and can't find used cheap enough either. So I'm wondering what ideas y'all have for "DIY" stuff - I've seen things like people dragging 4x4s for land leveling, etc. Honestly, I've used my brush hog deck to carry some items (like fluffy limbs, not heavy ones, to the burn pile).
Some things I wish I could afford and would love to find some "DIY" options are... a blade for digging up the gravel in my driveway, breaking up the grass, and flattening out the pot holes; a tow behind cart/trailer to carry things around the farm (bigger than the little wagon I bought @ walmart); and a middle buster / row maker / something to help with the garden. All I've got are a disk harrow and a rotary cutter.
