Anyone seen or have a sprayer with a fiberglass
tank? Do they exist?

What would be the reason vs typical plastic tanks?
More durable or chemical resistant?

My old Bestway 500 gallon sprayer has a tank that
wondering if it may be fiberglass.

Just curious.

Thanks!
Bill

I've seen fiberglass sprayer tanks most were 30-40 years ago. I know one was because of where they worked and it was cheaper for him to make one than buy it. the other don't know anything about it if you want it it can be had for cheap. It's in MI so a fair ways from you . It is a complete prayer frame and wheels not sure about the booms would have to look.

John Deere used to use fiber glass tanks. After time outside started to get rough. Never leaked tho. Sold years ago when I quit farming. Don't rember model of sprayer.

Picture below from 2006 shows a 150 gallon fiberglass tank I put on tractor as sprayer tank for herbicide application at planting and then later side dress nitrogen. Also spray ground with pre-plant burndown for no-till, also any other general use spraying job on the farm. Tank was bought and installed in 1977 and still in use today. I also have a 500 gallon fiberglass tank used strictly as a liquid nitrogen nurse tank. It is on a steel frame so I can set it on a flat bed truck and go to fertilizer dealer and get a supply of liquid nitrogen when needed. Fiberglass is repairable should tank be damaged.

I have an old sprayer with a 300 gallon fiberglass tank that I picked up at an auction 30 years ago. Still use it every year.
