setting a ih 500 disk

ih 500 plowing disk. trying to set to break up some pasture. do the front/rear gang angles have to match? It was set on the least angle, increase angle to try to get some penetration. It hasnt rained here in awhile. Havent even started trying yet, sprayed some roundup yesterday.

If you run a disk with miss matched gangs, one will throw more dirt than the other.

This makes ridges and valleys of the field.

Might work for something special, but generally not a good idea.

You don't want to disc where you just sprayed round up for best killing of weeds wait a bout 3-7 days minumum. If you disc down what you sprayed yesterday likely it will not kill what you want it to.

i know that. im trying to get the disk set for when i get out there next week. soybeans start tomorrow, not going to be much time to do much else this week.
