New Holland 451 mower Guard

Gentlemen I have a dilemma, I need to get back to cutting hay but I've got a couple guards that are broken. They're the single style and I cannot find any replacements locally, everyone however has the double guards in stock. My question is can I grab a couple of the doubles and use them with the singles on there already? Or am I stuck waiting to get some in?

As long as they fit the bar you can. Just make sure it doesn't affect your knife height on either side of the double guard or on that guard
itself.

As Mike sez - I've replaced NH guards with farm store guards, and they don't register the same. The ones beside the high one won't cut right.
I can't answer the single/double question.

I run both on one of my NH mowers works fine just make sure they are NH guards.

NH no longer list the single guard on their parts list
I ve never used single guards on my 451 so not sure if you can run both side by side
Looks like it s a trial and fit deal
