Ford 250 baler problem, desperate!

Hi there,
I need help desperately! I have a Ford 250 baler with a new issue. The twine is wrapping around the bilhook, not hanging up,
getting tight then breaking. I rebuilt the knotter over the winter and have successfully baled a couple hundred bales about a month ago. I'm using 7200 twine, brand new rolls. Would the 9000 twine be better?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Check twine disk adjustment timing.
Compare to knotter working, if one is
okay. Then the wiper arm adjustment to
the billhook.

Hang on ,youll get going ,just got figured it out. Sounds like there something to go back and look at that you did .

First off do you have the maintenance manuals ? Get them Somehow .

Not familiar with ford just MF 224

Stopping here till I can say something else helpful other the finger springs on bill hook doesnt sound like its not working . Stuck rusted what
ever did you grease everything thing before you put it back . Just saying we a blind to the circumstances in your quest and cant assume .

And only use fresh mfg. rate twine till you get out of this predicament.

I started out with one of those 35 years ago. I have now used an MF 224 for 20 years. Saturday as I was baling I was thinking about the many various baler knotting problems that come up here, and that probably 95% of them are caused by one of the numerous adjustments being just a little too far out. The best thing for you to do is to go back to your manual and start at the beginning of the knotter adjustment section and go right through it.

Thank you gentlemen, I do have the manual and have 2 brand new rolls of 7200 sisal twine. My plan now is to start at the beginning of the manual and retrace my steps.
