HOW TO REPAIR A SINGLE way IHC Cylinder

Depending on the type you get the gland back some pull the wire out and then push it back out the end of the barrel. tie bolte just loosen then up to get the ends off then replace the seals. A welded cylinder some screw in and out some have the wire and some get a snap ring to come apart. All depends on thwe cylinder. While in there change the seal on the shaft under the piston on the rod. It could be just that is all that is leaking. I would change it all while it was apart though.

(quoted from post at 19:27:38 09/11/22) maybe tell us whats wrong with it or what u are doing ,

Its blowing oil out the front of the cylinder. I was mowing hay with it

I am thinking a few pictures of it, at least one good one of the gland end, will be needed to give you much good help. I have a couple IH tagged cylinders that have entirely different glands so repair procedure will be different.
