agco parts breakdown

I was working on a baler (3x4) and there is a shaft that is bad. I was wondering if I can rebuild that shaft or if I buy the entire crank arm assembled with shaft. I was hoping to find an online parts break down to seeif it lists these parts seperate or as and entire assembly. Thanks.

Do you have a machine shop close buy, that can turn it down, or put the splines back on or whatever it needs? If you do that's a big plus!

WEll could but it would have to be dismantled as the arm is far too large and heavy to install in a lathe. I have the lathe and can build it and turn it back to print myself, but I would have to still totally dismantle and reassemble as well as lots and lots of welding, and I would be slightly concerned for it's integrity after that much cleanup and weld. The wear is 50% of the way through the shaft. It was run a very long time. And not by me.

Only in very unique situations are components of a weldment provided as service parts on their own. This would be especially true for a rotating shaft assembly where things have to be held to close tolerances.

What model of baler and specific part are you looking at?

thanks for the help. That was easily accessible and helpful as well. Now I need to find a part or find a salvage yard that has big balers. Any ideas?
