National Loader control valve

I have an orphan loader (National model 16) on an orphan tractor (Satoh 650G) with a leaky control valve. The cylinders are new and the loader still sags.
This is not the valve, but it looks a lot like mine

I can't imagine there is a repair kit for the valve. What do I need to know to source a replacement or will anything from Northern Tool work ?

Thanks
Greg

you could probably get a replacement valve from Northern tool or perhaps less expensive from Surplus center

With the tractor shut off and the loader lowered to the ground to relieve all pressure in the hydraulic system, remove and examine the load checks, (shown as A in the diagram you linked to).

If they are damaged and do not seat/seal against the seat below them in the valve casting the loader will sag as you apparently are experiencing.

If the seating area in the valve is undamaged you can replace the checks with Part # N150466 from a John Deere dealer. (Key # 25 in the drawing at the link below.

I am reasonably certain those parts will fit, the cost is about $20 each, but proceed at your own ri$k!.

Loader may have been built by Johnson Hyd Equipt Co Minneapolis Mn and sold as model 16 under a couple of names.
