I need a 16 in wheel to fit a 6.00 16 tire, with a 4 bolt center,My supplier called two of his supplier's, they said they dont make that anymore ! Any body know what used, 16 inch tires from years ago,or am i going to have to change the hub to a 6 bolt ?

I bought a new 4 bolt wheel from Miller Tire a couple of years ago but that was a 15 inch rim. Don't know if they had a 16 inch rim.

I was going to call them today, when i had time, i got a 15 inch off a John Deere, that's in perfect condition, but when i wire brush it up, i seen the stamp that said 15, so no nix on that!

Here is where I wonder, what is the best solution? Replacing the hub?

Transferring the center from a 4 bolt rim to a 16" rim?

I've noticed that a lot of farm equipment rims look like they're made in two pieces, and the center often attaches to the rim section at just a few places.

A transplant of a center might??? be not that hard to do?

Also depends if you have old rims around to transplant to/from, and how standard the center size is. Implied here is that the center has the same diameter; whether it's in a 15" or 16" overall rim.

Just thinking out loud.

The best i can do is find a USED 4 bolt wheel that is skinny, and 16 inch, I got a winter to look for that!

But Jean Claude, can u remember what was that used on, I thought maybe the old pull type Cockshutte swather used a 4 bolt 16 inch wheel, which i have, but no that's a 6 bolt 15 inch.

Try Heywheel.com for one. It well probably not be cheap but will be a good wheel. They also have centers so you could change the rime size to what ever you like.

A modern mini cooper came with 16x5.5 four bolt rims.
But the bolt circle is 100mm or 3.937"
Other cars also.
You could get one from junk yard and then make an adapter to your bolt circle?

Well, that's a posslbilty, but i have the tire, i just need a rim, since i posted this. i been thinking the 100 IHC drill had a 4 bolt,16in front wheel, and i haven't been to the salvage yard yet,i got till spring to get one, thanks!

Where do you live? In central Iowa there is a shop in the next town that can probably build what you need. Hewitts Service Center in Monroe, Iowa. They are Napa parts, tires, tire repair and wheel shop. Cars, pickups, semis and trailers and farm equipment. When I go there I need something and cost isnt always the most important factor
