Ford 515 Sickle Bar Mower

I have a 515 sickle bar mower and it needs new knife sections. I can get the individual knife sections and replace them all, but would prefer to get the entire knife assembly. I contacted Messicks, the local New Holland dealer, but was told they can't get the entire assembly anymore.

Do you know of a place to get the assembly aftermarket? Thanks in advance.
 
Why?? Unless the bar it self is bad it is less then $25 to replace all the section but to replace the whole bar if you can find it will be more like $150
 
At one time both Central Tractor and TSC would stock cutterbar assemblies but no more CT and I havent seen TSC stock them in quite a while. Dont know if they could order you one,or maybe one of the other farm supply stores depending on your area. Webb AKA Cutting Components or Shoup may be online sources.
 
Try Shoup Manufacturing. They used to make up complete bar and section assemblies that ship UPS in 2 pieces. You splice them back together with the included parts. Did one on a 9 foot haybine and it worked great. No issues with the splice. They ship fast too!
