Little genius no. 8 plow colors

I use Ford Blue, from the Hardware store,it's almost perfect for the No 60 and No 70 plows! If you need a Off white IHC has some of that also, IHC paint and primer is high priced, but its very good !
 
Can someone post example photos please.

My dad always speaks fondly of our pair of little genius number 8, 2-16 plows.

Dad says during labor shortage of WWII and the boom right after, that our plows covered many acres doing custom work. When the original set of moldboards wore thru, dad patched them up. When the patches wore thru, he finally bought a second set of moldboards. When the second set wore thru, he patched those up with other worn out moldboards. When the patches wore thru on the second set, he finally bought a third set of moldboards.

So with 2 patchings and 2 replacements, I guess you could say they are on thier 5th set of moldboards?

Anyone else get that much life put of little genius number 8 2-16 plows?

This is my No. 4. All Tisco enamel paint. Case Desert Sunset was a dead match for the concealed original paint on the wheels.
 
wow, i sure didnt, i bought mine from my BIL, and he put Oliver bottoms on it,they fir right on, but now i got to buy Oliver shares~

Mine came from Maple Hunter in Indiana, good folks and top quality

The beam stencil I had custom made to match the original.
