Looking for some advise on baling and wrapping wet hay with the NH br7060. Planned on wrapping
approximately 400 bales of haylage this year for my cattle. Looking for an advice about % moisture, windrow size, baling speed and anything else you can help me with.

Thanks

Have a BR7070 crop cutter and bale a lot of baleage. Bale anywhere from 20% moisture up to 60%. I always rake 24' of hay into one windrow about 5' wide so it fills the sides of the chamber. I bale as fast as the baler will eat the windrow sometimes thats 11mph sometimes thats 6mph depending on moisture and how thick the hay was.

I'd recommend making the bales a little smaller than the 60" max in a 7060 unless you know the monitor is calibrated spot on and you can slam on the brakes real fast. Bales get heavy and sticky and an oversize bale isn't doing the baler any favors.
