John Deere 467 baler

Last season, on my 467 baler the netwrap would, on occasion, continue to wrap until I realized what it was doing and shut it down. Any ideas what caused this?

Have been regularly applying grease to the difficult to see grease fitting on each end of net knife operating mechanism? Have you checked electrical quick connection between tractor & baler to be sure pins are contacting receptacles very good? Do you have baler monitor electrical source outlet attached directly to tractor battery/starter?

I'll go over the connections good before I start up this year. I have not been checking those regularly. I think I have been greasing the fittings
you are talking about. I know there are only two on the netwrap mechanism that I grease regularly. I'll check to make sure they are knife ones. Not
sure about the monitor power but I think it plugs into an outlet in the cab behind the seat. I do know if I run the air conditioning and fan wide
open the monitor will occasionally display a low voltage battery warning.

Baler monitors especially with netwrap needs to get voltage directly from battery/starter. Low voltage can cause netwrap attachment to do strange things.

Are there separate cables and connectors on how to do this? The netwrapper was a dealer add on a couple of years after we bought it. Dealer did not
say anything, if I recall, about hooking it direct to battery. Makes sense though. Of course I never read the manual that came with it.

JD offers a convenience plug wiring harness kit(key 12) or one can just get the plug(key 11) & create one own kit.
