that drives the pickup on my 268NH baler. Hoping the weathers gotten better where someone might get out and around to see if they might
have one. Thanks

Boston Gear, Motion Industries, Kaman Bearing, Browning Gear all have matching sprockets. Take your old to a machine shop with the new. They bore the new to match the old, turn the old off of the hub, and weld the new where it belongs. Jim

A picture of wat your wanting would help. I have a NH68 parts baler so I may have one

From last time we went down this road:

Here is the parts page for the sprocket he indicated it is showing the other pieces of equipment that use that sprocket. Click on VIEW MORE (below the list of a few machines showing) and the rest of the list appears. The 68 baler is not one of the ones listed as using that sprocket.

That may be agricultural double pitch chain and sprocket. Advertising pictures aren't always correct but the picture on Messicks site is a section of a cast double pitch sprocket. And here are pictures of the sprocket and chain from another site. The tooth count is 23, as the parts book calls for. The same site shows #66241 as double pitch chain, but the size isn't legible in the picture.

At that time I asked if farmallb would confirm if these looked right so people would have an idea of what the sprocket looks like and don't think he has done that as yet, or posted the chain size someone asked him for.

You can just install a normal pitch sprocket with weld in hub,, if yours is say a 12 tooth for example you use a 24 tooth,, it will drive the pickup the same,,, I am betting I have one on a parts 78 baler bu the cast ones are easy to crack/break when removing,, and even so you will buy a new std pitch one and hub cheaper than I would need buy the time I would invest a hour or more pulling one,,

Is a new one simply not available? Or are you trying to save money by trying to find used?A new one shouldn't be too expencive. Agree with Case Nutty. Go to your local farm store or nearest implement dealer and buy a 'weld-a-sprocket' assembly. Hub and sprocket. As long as the diameter is the same,it wont matter if it has too many teeth. Doesnt matter if every other tooth isn't used.If fact, the welda sprocket assembly and factory cast sprocket will most likely have have a similar cost.I use quite a few weld a sprockets in my operation. They work and perform well for an economical price.

Jim. Ive had a hell of a time getting on here. Sometimes it would take my info, sometimes it wouldnt, BUTT I cant remember you posting
these pics, which with me being 74 is likely. ANYWAY, THANKS for posting it again, and YES, that sproket is what im looking for. OLD says
he has one so im fixing to call him now. Thanks again for posting

Just called Old. He dosent have that sproket on his baler, so ill check out those places you posted

Look on the side of the roller chain. Its probably 2050 as a lot of balers used it. If it is, just get a 46 tooth #50 chain welda sprocket with the correct inner diameter hub.. If 2060 then get a 46 tooth #60 weldasprocket. Quite simple. With a new sprocket make sure and get a new chain too.
