Cultivator parts identification

Hey folks, drug all of these these
cultivator pieces out of the same small
room in a old barn. I'm not very familiar
with the mounted cultivators and wasn't
sure what I have here. The previous
property owner's family had mostly IH
equipment so I assume it's IH but from the
pictures I've searched the only pieces I
recognize are the triangle frames. Is this
a set or multiple pieces to different
models?

not a cultivator guy but can tell you the 2 triangular shaped pieces mount on either side of the front frame on the tractor, bolts out. I got those on the front of my SMTA when I bought it. I picked up an old front mount cutivator from the guy I got the tractor from, for free to haul off, but never mounted it. some of the pieces don't look like what I saw on cultivator.

#5 looks like one of the front mounted assemblies on a Farmall tractor. All the rest looks like alot of other things. I saw a cow halter to keep cows from going through fences, some wagon frame parts, and some cultivator pics I dont recognize, and what looks like a thing to pick up hay out of the field I dont recognize.

It is a 4 row front mounted cultivator. The parts with the shanks mounted on them attach to the tool bar and the triangular pieces on the tool bar then attach to the front of an H or M or equal tractor. The one square frame part is mounted to the rear axles brackets. The triangular pipe pieces connect from the rear axle brackets and depth control levers laying on the ground to the front tool bar. I do not know the model number and cannot remember the 2 row model like it that we had when I was a kid.

Looks to be a COMPLETE 4 row 'vegatable'(beets, onions, pinto beans...) cultivator for an H/M Farmall.dont know the number. You could put disks, sweeps or any tool on that was needed. That one looks like it was used in short/young corn. The rear bar is there, along woth fenders, mounts and all...Not many survive in as good or complete condition as that one is.Do NOT scrap it!Sell it complete. Someone out there wants it.It could be worth $500. To use,or to show. Or buy an H/M and install it for show. Not many have seen those. They were popular/common on C/SC 'in the day'. Rarely did you see that type on an H/M.an M could handle 6 or 8 rows of that one. The long front bars indicate it may have been a larger unit.I have a similar one on a '45 M that I use on the first cultivation on my NONGMO corn. However,It was modifyed from a different model that came from a 450,as I was unable to find the 'right' one.Nice find!

The more I look, the more I think the frame part may even fit an F series. The two mounting plates resemble the front of an F20 type mount. The cylinder, etc could be part of an H/M upgrade 'kit'That cultivator could possibly fit several different F and letter series tractors.I'll have to dig into my IH book. Where are you? Probably too far from me in western Colorado.

Thanks everyone for all the great help and information so far! I'm in Central Illinois, definitely a bit far from Colorado. I did find a manual on ebay for the C/SC 454 vegetable cultivator and it looks pretty close other then the different mounting setup for the H/M. I have a '45 H so I'll have to try and see if I can find out the model number and find a manual for it. As far as how it would be mounted up, lets see if I got this right. The plates just below the cylinder in the last picture would bolt to the front frame and the "tool bar" (1st and 2nd picture??) would mount to those with the triangular bracing to the front? Triangular pipe frames would then mount to the tool bar back to the rear axle brackets where the rear bar would then mount in place of the drawbar?
