What are the paint codes for the yellow and red on New Holland implements? Is there a Rustolium or other paint brand that has colors that are close?
 
I just bought an aerosol can of "NewHolland red" from tractor supply yesterday.. There was 'NewHolland Yellow" sitting right beside it.Our local Ace Hardware store carries gallon/quart cans too. Your automotive paint store would probably have the number in their computer. Have you asked your New Holland dealer?
 
Just remember those 'cheap' paints tend to fade. Red is especially bad. They usually turn pink in a year or two. So haveing the 'correct' shade wont matter at that point. I learned that the hard way. You need 'high end' paints with hardener to get long lasting color.
 
Yeah, I used some cheap paint on a NH manure spreader.

It looks like crap

Yep,I painted my freshly restored f'20 Rustoleum red. In a year it faded to bright pink.Then it turned a dull pink.Looks like crap....
 
U just made a replacement door/cover for the right side of the 472. Original was just crushed and beyond repair. NH wanted about $500 for it. Too much. I'm not painting the whole machine, just the new door. So a little facing is good so it will match better. Think I will just have the paint store mix something to match the face. About $20 for a fix can.
