Ya that would work fine. But I need to know more about what you have for sure. There is a model number on the deck not "Woods 59" but a model number so I know what it came off of. The mounting hardware is not on size fits all. If this came off a Allis Chalmers C or B it would not work for my intentions. Call me after dark so we don' tie up this forum. My number is above. Regards, John.

I have called woods and given them my email address and they simply emailed me a PDF copy of the parts manual. Simple and now I have a digital copy with me forever.

Doesn't lool like it came off a Cub. Cub mounting hardware is way different. In the case of Cubs, might be the only Woods deck that is specific? Most decks are interchangeable with the mounting hardware and pulleys being the important parts. If that came off of a Farmall C I would sell it as a unit and keep looking for a cub deck and hardware. But most people in this situation do it "their" way and that is fine too.

If your near central Wi might be able to help you out with the proper deck that came off a Cub. I am looking for a Woods for a Farmall C. Friend had deck that came off his dads Cub with all the correct mounting hardware. Unless divine intervention you are going to find the hardware you need is unobtainium. If you got God in your back pocket maybe you will find what you need. Good luck. Regards, John.

Thanks for the reply. How far are you from Dubuque. I would make a deal with you.

Thanks

Did it come off a Cub? Attaching parts are very specific to each tractor, and they're not cheap! As Leroy indicates, a manual tells/shows the story. Last I knew, they were available on the woods website. And as I recall, it took some digging to find the correct one. But when you do, a few pictures lay it all out.

Woods has a website, try there for on line manuals. If I remember right Cubs PTO runs at different speed and opposite direction of all others requiring Cub specific mower drive or model.

I was going to ask if the cub PTO didn't run backwards, necessitating special gearing, special blades, or twisting the drive belt. Best look at it carefully with that in mind.
