Ford 309 corn planter

Recently had this old planter given to me and I am in the process of restoring it to be able to use next summer to try and plant sunflowers. Does anyone know what plates I would need for this or any info to do this would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Lincoln Ag products does not carry 309 plates. I used to own one but found it almost impossible to find plates for it. I ended selling it. Maybe try Ebay? IH and JD plates are easily found. Good luck.

Are you planting sunflower for the local bird plot, and if there confection sunflower's, their a much bigger seed than oil seeds, i would try the corn plates if you can't get what u want thru Lincoln !!!

I've got some plates for the 309, we planted corn many years with one. It will take a few days to find them. Looks like the large corn plate number is 108952, 20 cells. If I find them I'll post back, you're only one state away so shipping shouldn't be too bad.

I found two sets, 109787-A2 for medium, large flat long corn and 108957-A2 for medium round corn.

Not near as much as the ones on fleabay :-( If you can give me an email or phone number I can give you the information. I can only sell one set though.
