FEL to Skid Steer Conversion Brackets???

Just finished restoring a Lord FEL for my Ford 850. It works really really well. Also installed power assisted steering onto the tractor. It came with a heavy duty bucket, which will get use, but I want to be able to take off the bucket and install implements used on skid steers. Is there, and can anyone recommend a quality bracket that I can pin onto my FEL that would then accept standard skid steer implements? My existing FEL hydraulics are for 4 double acting cylinders, but not for a grapple. My pins are 1.25 inch diameter, but I could change to smaller pins with bushings if needed. Any help for this new FEL owner would be, as always, much appreciated. Larry.

Larry, what i have found is the Westindorf Loader quick attach system,it like a male /female system, The female,[it's verticle] you weld on the back of the bucket, the male parts fits the loader , with a spring loader verticale pin, and that goes on your cylinder's of the loader. It's made in a Little town of Onawa Iowa, They were leap's ahead of the big Companys with his system,IMHO. Look it up, wwwwestindorf loaders, study the quick hitch from the pictures and make one for your own use!

I hope you can find one that will pin on your loader, however I will be surprised if you do. Given the vintage and brand of your loader(pre such quick attach systems), I think you need to find one you like and plan on the fact that you are going to have fabrication work done to make it pin on to your loader.

There are a number of types of systems out there. Find one you like and one you can find the attachments, with the matching coupling system, you want to go with it. Many are standard, some may not be, or don't connect as securely.

I have a JD 148 loader, it's an old style pin on loader. I had a bucket and a bale spear and it was a pain to change them out. I did some research and decided on a MDS sur-lock that would allow me to keep the bucket and bale spear, but use them like quick attach implements.
I've had it now for 8 or 10 years, it works great. You might give them a call to see if they have something that would fit your loader. mdsmfg dot com

Thanks all, I am suffering the usual problem, trying to integrate modern tech with my desire to keep my vintage tractors original. I think it would not be a problem just fabricating and welding some pin type brackets onto a more modern quick hitch system. I will do as suggested and look at the sites suggested. Thank you all, Larryu

The new ones are called remote attachment, well i didnt have that on mine, i had to get off to unhook the bucket to hook on the Pallet Forks, i would want that, to Modern for me,LOL . Guess i mispelled his name,It's Westendorf !
