5ft Howse Rotary cutter question

Hi I have a ~ 30 year old 5' Howse rotary cutter, 40 HP gearbox.

I want to replace the blades. Are the bolts specific to the blades used? Seems there is two styles of bolts. I assume either style just piviots where it bolts up to cutter, and blades make the difference.

Never had this apart before......I want to have correct bolts so I can do this same day.

I have a Howse Rotary cutter too. Call or email Howse they will know just what bolt you need. I needed a fly wheel for mine I called them and they knew just what one I needed. I don't have a model number or any thing. Mark

HOWSE is pretty good with providing PARTS DIAGRAMS online. The trick is to know exactly which model of equipment you have.
looks like the two versions they have are ROUND SHOULDER and SQUARE SHOULDER bolts. If you don't know the EXACT model, you may have to disassemble the blade and have a look which version you have BEFORE ordering new ones, although I understand why that isn't very 'efficient'!
