What is the length of the tongue when used with horses?
I would think all horse drawn sickle mowers would be the same.
I have several manuals but none show that information.

The tongues on my MCD No. 9 and Oliver mowers are on the order of 12 feet or more. Measures 9 feet from the neck yoke to the pin for the double tree. Will depend somewhat if you use a bolt on neck yoke or a ring type and the set up of your double tree and single trees. These are set up for a team of 1700 to 1900 pound draft horses. I have some replacement tongues and they measure 13.5 feet in length.
