McCormick International 55 Offset disk

Just bought it and plan to rebuild it and put it to work. It actually doesn't have any markings etc. on it other than a faint McCormick International sticker on one side. I am guessing at the model based on some brochures I found on ebay 1964 or so. Anyhow does anybody have any information on this disk or direct me to parts?

It is a 7.5-8' disk, rears are 24" notched blades, fronts are worn, and most are 17-19", so not sure what size front blades it had originally.

Lots of welds and repairs over the years. Entire front gang subframe will need to be rebuilt, rear is in OK shape. When I took apart the front gang I found a 1.5" round axle with round spool centers but with square 1.5" disc holes? I assume that it has been retrofitted over and over to get that combination? OR is it acceptable to put square hole discs on a round axle?

Bearings are very weird and appear to be built into the spools??

I will try to post some pictures and any help is appreciated.

I think it's been retrofitted, I had a 500 tandem, that had a square shaft, i think mine had round spool's !! But you sure the bearings arn't just rusted together,Mine had a short and a long half that made up the bearing.

Ordered new disks for the front as well as bought new style bearings and bearing standards. Bought a 2x5x .25 rectangle tubing for the new bearing standards to mount to.

Like I said bought to put it to work so putting back together to be functional not original. Plus the only paint I had was MF Red!!

Going to do the rear gang of disks the same way later.

Primered,
First coat of paint
