Slip Clutch

The attached pictures are of a "Radial Pin Slip Clutch" from a 1995 KMC Peanut Combine. Does anybody recognize who made this? It wasn't working properly and when opened up had some broken springs etc.

I hope to find a new one, used one or get parts for this one. There are no Manufacturing marks...only the number 120 stamped on it...maybe the spec...ft/lbs?

So looking for any information.

Thanks!
Rich

Wonder if it could be a Walterscheid (European brand name)?

Thanks for the replies. I had tried to order one from KMC via the local JD dealer and was told they didn't have any. Just emailed KMC directly and was told they were no longer made but they use to buy them from Walterscheid. I'll check...maybe I can get some new pins and springs from them.

Thanks!

That is a Walterschied slip clutch. Deere uses the same clutch on the 5xx series balers for the pickup and you can get them thru A&I.

Slip clutch(photo below) for JD 5XX & later series rd balers are similar but not the same as the slip clutch KMC peanut combine.

Although I am not knowledgeable enough to contribute much to the forums..they (You'all) always come through with help when I have a question. So Thanks Again for everyone's helpful replies!

KMC has always been helpful as well...and although it took a few days/ inquiries they did provide some answers...but a little bit of a story...sorry for the length. Originally was told by KMC they were no longer available. So I looked around and found some used ones in Blakley, Georgia and drove up there yesterday and picked two up from some really nice folks with the thought that between them I would have enough springs/pins etc to rebuild one good one and maybe have a spare.

When I got back from my trip to Georgia with the two used Clutches...I had an email waiting from KMC saying these were indeed Walterscheid clutches (Worn Out and others identified this) and gave the part number ( 389220.) I also got a reply from an inquiry to Walterscheid saying Tarver Sales Corp in Folsom LA may have them.

Then another note from KMC saying on later models they just quit using the clutch and gave a part number for a shaft without the clutch.

When I unloaded the clutches I brought back from Georgia...and knocked some mud off I found a no doubt- hot, tired and frustrated Georgia Farmer came to the same conclusion as KMC. Attached is a picture of his fix with some lug bolts and a welder:)

So I have a shaft without a clutch ordered from KMC.

We'll See:)

Look to me that yours can be repaired. Ive never seen one like yours but Are you missing the lock up pin and spring ?
What does the inside look like is the splines worn, if so might be able to move the pin location to a new location ,
Just offer ing a positive you can fix it alternative ideas 💡
