On first try running unit, mill plugged up solid and wrung off the pto driveshaft. Had pto shaft repaired.

2nd try was successful. Ground about 800 lbs of shelled corn in about an hour. 2250 rpm. Fed corn in using a 5 gallon bucket

I have one simalar thats flat belt driven. Does it have hammers or plow head bolts for grinding. I would like to identify it.

Reminds me of the guts of an old BearCat grinder that we had on our dairy farm growing up.

It had augers to feed the stock in, and an auger to unload a big mixing tub on it that held about two tons.

Driven with an old Farmall 460, it could handle corn and oats darn near as fast as you could shovel it.

It does not have swinging hammers. It has rigid teeth that are held in place with 2 bolts apiece.

At least one has only 1 bolt on it. I wonder if those are hardened bolts with lock nuts
They are small like about 1/4 diam x 3/8 long

OH, and thanks for good duct tape. Modern split flue sections don't hold up well to the vibration and pressure
