Case Eagle Hitch Disk Harrow Model E-86

New to me Case Eagle Hitch Disk Harrow Model E-86. 16-inch disks. Not rusted up to bad, all gangs spin. Has 3 broken disks. Anyone have a few used worn disks that measure in the 15 to 15 1/2 diameter, I'd be interested. Not sure I want the expense of replacing them all. Also, what is the best solution for removing lichen?

If ypu can replace all with 18' blades it should have had from factory. yours are already completely wore out at the 15.5". The 18" blades will do twice as good of work on less fuel and possibly a gear higher in speed. So many disks that could be gotten with either 16" or 18" The farmer bought the 16" under the fals impression that they pulled easier.

Hey Tod, you can get new 16" disc blades with a 1" or 1 1/8" centers for $19.60. Shoup parts...800.627.6137.

Shoup Manufactureing is a good place to order good quality parts from. Agri-Services carries parts for the older,smaller disks.Blades,spools,bearings/boxings....I order prts for my small 6'Ferguson disk from AgriServices. Parts for the big 16'White/Oliver from Shoup.

Model E-86 has 16" blades. The E-88 has 18" blades.

Still if you plan on using it if the frame would let you put 18" blades on it would be the way to go. It was just a way to sell to people that bought only on price and not thinking what it would do and forgeting about needing blades way before the one with the 18" blades do. Now unless you only plan onhaving it for show go with the small blades.
