JD 1219 Cutter Sickle Question

On the pitman end of the sickle (the "knife" if you prefer) there are three holes in the top/bottom support bars. Is there supposed to be another (partial) "section"? There isn't space for a whole section. The top/bottom support bars have a slight distance (the thickness of the sections) between them. Do I just put bolts or rivets in these holes or put in some kind of spacer or a partial section? Thanks for the info. kelly

Go to the link below and click on "Knife, riveted assembly" or "Knife, bolt-on assembly" and you can see what's REALLY supposed to be there, complete with part numbers.

IMHO the JD parts page photo is confusing unless one reads the parts description which states with serrated sections utilize H30170 which is a 1/2 section not a spacer as photo depicts.
