I'm cobbling together an old home made log splitter with my JD40S running a PTO hydraulic pump with reservoir (tractor's hydraulic system has too low flow to operate the splitter directly).
I needed a short ½" hose and bought a packaged one at Tractor Supply - ASSUMING one of the ends had a "swivel" (Couldn't see inside the packaging). Nope, both end fittings are "tight" to the hose.
Is there a convention for replacement hoses? A standard designation? Or is what you see what you get?
