neighbor came over and said he is having trouble with his baler. He says about every 3or 4 bales the needles don't return all the way and the plunger stop come out .he has to manually pull the needles back up.I have a 24t so im kinda stumped any help will be appreciated Thanks Bob

The needles may be going home but not staying. Tighten the brake on the needle lift shaft. It may be worn out or not tight enough.

The needles are lifted by a rod that connects to a gear driven trip dog. I believe there is a bushing in that trip dog mechanism that wears out of round. The photo is my 336 with a broken axle, but the lift rod connecting to the needles shows.

I had the left side axle break on my 336, and my neighbor did too. Must be a common issue?
