Sorting thru my grandfathers old farm implements and could use some help identifying if possible and/or determining a fair value.

Antique wheeled subsoiler
Post driver - front mount

Thanks in advance! Mark in NC

I sold a 3 bottom plow like that with new landsides, shins and shares for $350. It was JD. The subsoiler is nice. Would love to have a JD model to go with my other antiques. Tried to buy one at a farm auction a few years ago thinking I could get it cheap but I was wrong seems like it brought something near $200. It was in very nice shape even had much of the original green paint on it. Don't know what the last item is. Hope this helps.

Thanks for info! I kinda like the look of the subsoiler. Looks like something made in an old cannon factory. Might just leave it in the barn to admire. The plow is too much for my tractor.

I believe the post driver might be Shaver Mfg. If it was 3 point hitch I would be tempted to keep

Do you have a tractor that post driver will mount on? If so keep it and if driving any posts a lot better control with that front mount over a 3 point hitch model. And that subsoiler check it out for make as they sell for way more than you would think and JD highest value of all.

Each to his own, but for no more dollars than those are worth, if they were my grandpa's, I would keep them. Particularly if you have a place to either store or display them.

That subsoiler looks like it could bring a lot. The land plow not so much. It needs shares, can't tell about the shins.
